First let me start with the proper New England way of saying the title is “Feeling like crap but doing it anyways”. Don’t ask my why we add an “s” to the end but for some reason it works up here. Maybe to add a little emphasis on our determination.
So if you couldn’t already tell, I did my run and it didn’t feel so good. Some days are like that though. Some days we have junk miles. I never like my junk miles to be on the weekend because that is when I actually have time to enjoy the run but that was how it was today. I think we all have those moments when we want more than our body wants to give us. But being the “go-getter” I am, I push onward. I feel like that is definitely a statement for our everyday life too. Just because we don’t feel like doing something, we should try it, push through it and chances are we will be happy we did it in the end. If not we will hopefully have learned something after we did it. As for me, I’m happy I went to the gym early so I have the rest of the day to slack off and still feel accomplished. Oh yeah, I have to do the weekend cross training of house cleaning too but at least this way I won’t feel as if that is all I did for Janathon.
