I don’t know about you but weeks that start with a holiday seem to be the longest weeks. I loved that this week was 4 days because I had a great weekend and was glad to be able to take another day off on Monday (Martin Luther King Day) but I sure seemed to be overwhelmed every day. In my work we don’t get paid unless we have a client sitting in front of us so I packed my days so I wouldn’t have to use my vacation time to make up for the holiday. Good news, I only had to use 2 hours and still able to leave work by 1 on friday but “man, I’m worn out!”
I am not sure I have ever been happier that we are supposed to get 4-6 inches of snow tomorrow making it a day for staying in, lounging, maybe reading a book and just taking it easy. I know I have a long run scheduled for this weekend but I guess it will have to be on Sunday which is fine with me. Just hoping that I don’t have to do 20 miles on the dreadmill and I can get outside for a little while. 🙂
Today’s cross training day included:
9 mile spin class at a moderate level 4 at the gym – this was only my second time to do this and it is fun and good for me but hard. So still trying to figure out the whole spin class thing.
Did 3 sets of 10 (with 5lbs weights in each hand) of my dumbbell blast that I posted here. Getting a little better but it too is a little difficult. No pain, no gain.
So another day of Janathon complete and now I think it is time for bed and sleeping in.
I feel like a kid waiting for santa…. I can’t wait to see the snow fly. (We haven’t had much this year so it will be nice.)
